NEW Tribute 62

NEW Tribute 62

InTheBite Sportfishing Magazine

Tribute has a new 62-foot sportfish under construction, which is a new project for them coming in addition to the 63-foot Crosstep sportfish. This 62 features a three stateroom, two-head layout with a separate tackle room, and will have a cold-molded Okume plywood hull with alternating layers of Brunzeel plywood and Kevlar hybrid cloth from Vectorply. Everything from the rub rail up will be composite, consisting of Corecell foam and biaxial cloth set in Gougean ProSet Resin. She will be powered by twin 1800 hp MAN diesel engines driving through Brant Savander’s Wake Adapted running gear. Design started with some basic drawings by Rich Scheffer and was refined, engineered and 3D-modeled by Michael Peters Yacht Design. Tooling and building jigs were provided by Marine Concepts. The interior is being built by Belkov Interiors. This is Tribute’s third build with this hull bottom design, which they and their customers have been very happy with, due to its exceptional ride, fishability and speed.
